If a section number is not given, the cemetery is too small to be divided into sections. More than one similar name listed in a row indicates that there is more than one person buried in that row with the same name or there are duplicated headstones.
This index states the surname, the given name, the abbreviated name of the cemetery, the section, the row number and in some cases where the row is extremely long a numerical count of the headstones.
Also, check our cemetery name cross reference list, since many cemeteries are known by different names. Please have patience – our members are working hard to complete this huge task. If the cemetery of interest is not listed below, it has not yet been completed. This list includes the names on every readable stone and the names of any person known to be buried in Wayne County Cemeteries. The cemeteries listed below have been read, indexed and archived by WCCPS members.
